ACERCA DE ACCT - ABOUT THE ACCT
La Asociación Chilena de Carreteras y Transporte (ACCT Chile), es una asociación sin fines de lucro que promueve el intercambio de experiencias, la divulgación de buenas prácticas, la transferencia de conocimientos y los avances tecnológicos en el sector de las carreteras como parte integrante del sistema de transporte.
Esta Asociación es el Comité Nacional de la Asociación Mundial de la Carretera (AIPCR o PIARC) en Chile siendo su espíritu y valores generar aportes, intercambio de conocimientos y la búsqueda permanente del bien superior aportando su experiencia al crecimiento económico y desarrollo social sustentable de Chile.
The Chilean Association of Roads and Transportation (ACCT Chile) is a nonprofit association that promotes the exchange of experiences, dissemination of good practices, knowledge transference and technological advances in the road sector as part of the transport system.
This Association is the National Committee of the World Road Association (IAPCR or PIARC) in Chile. Its goal and values are to generate input, know-how exchange and the permanent search for relevant knowledge and experience in the road sector to contribute to economic growth and sustainable social development of Chile.

ACERCA DE ACCT - ABOUT THE ACCT
La agenda de trabajo de nuestra Asociación comprende las áreas de infraestructura carretera y transporte recogiendo la filosofía y principios de la Asociación Mundial de la Carretera, las diversas experiencias y avances de las instituciones chilenas en estas materias para consolidarla en beneficios de interés nacional.
La ACCT Chile fue oficializada el 25 de septiembre 2011 durante el Congreso Mundial de Carreteras de México, como el “Comité Nacional” que representa a Chile en la “Asociación Mundial de la Carretera” teniendo a su cargo la promoción y realización de actividades de intercambio, especialización, capacitación, seminarios, congresos y otros en los ámbitos señalados ..
The agenda of our association includes the tasks of road and transport infrastructure, after the philosophy and principles of the World Road Association, and the varied experiences and achievements of Chile's institutions, to consolidate these matters for the benefit of national interest.
ACCT Chile was made official on September 25, 2011 during the World Road Congress in Mexico, as the National Committee representing Chile in the "World Road Association", being in charge of promoting and conducting exchange, specialization, training activities, seminars, conferences and others in the identified areas.

Comités Técnicos de la AIPCR
Los Comités Técnicos de la AIPCR están formados por expertos de numerosas áreas, incluyendo la seguridad vial y el diseño, las operaciones de red y el mantenimiento, finanzas y gobierno.
Los expertos son designados por los países miembros para trabajar en las cuestiones identificadas en el Plan Estratégico, en un documento que contiene las directrices, aprobadas por los países miembros.
Los Comités Técnicos permiten que los participantes puedan acceder a la información global y a la experiencia de otros miembros, y contribuyen al desarrollo profesional y a las oportunidades de networking.
ObjetivoFomentar el desarrollo de las políticas y estrategias del transporte que dirigen las administraciones de transporte, que funcionan bien y que son financiadas de manera sostenible. Proporcionar ejemplos de buena gestión y de administraciones de transporte que financien sus actividades de manera adecuada, que incorporen las mejores gestiones en materia de mitigación y adaptación del cambio climático y la gestión de riesgo asociado u otras formas de riesgo.Chilean Association of Roads and Transportation

The PIARC Technical Committees are formed by experts from many areas, including road safety and design, network operations and maintenance, finance and government.
Experts are designated by member countries to work on issues identified in the Strategic Plan, a document containing the guidelines adopted by the member countries.
Technical Committees allow participants to access global information and experience of other members, and contribute to the professional development and networking opportunities.
GoalPromote the development of transport policies and strategies that guide transportation administrations, which work well and are funded in a sustainable manner. Provide examples of good management and transport authorities to finance their activities properly, incorporating best efforts on mitigation and adaptation to climate change and the management of risk associated with other forms of risk.

La Asociación Chilena de Carreteras y Transporte en conformidad de acuerdo a sus Estatutos y su Misión Institucional:“Promover el intercambio de conocimientos, divulgación de buenas prácticas y transferencia de conocimientos y tecnologías en el ámbito de las carreteras y el transporte como aporte al crecimiento y desarrollo económico sustentable de Chile”, ha contemplado la puesta en marcha de sus Comités Técnicos convocando el sector público, privado y académico vinculados a las carreteras y el transporte nacional para interactuar en una agenda común, proactiva y coherente con los principios y buenas prácticas. Esta agenda contempla constituir para una primera etapa los siguientes Comités Técnicos:
• Vialidad Invernal en Alta Montaña y Zonas Extremas
• Túneles• Puentes• Vialidad Urbana• Financiamiento• Gestión de Redes en Carreteras (ITS)• Gestión del Patrimonio Vial

The Chilean Association of Roads and Transport in conformity in accordance with its Statutes and Institutional Mission: "To promote knowledge sharing, diffusion of best practices and knowledge transfer and technologies in the field of road transport and as a contribution to sustainable economic growth and development of Chile" has seen the launch of its Technical Committees calling the public, private and academic sectors related to national roads and transport to interact in a common, coherent and proactive agenda with the principles and best practices. This agenda includes in a first stage to conform the following Technical Committees:
• Winter Maintenance on High Mountain and Extreme Zones
• Tunnels• Bridges• Urban roads• Financing• Highway Network Management (ITS)• Road Patrimony Management

A la fecha ACCT ha constituido sus siguientes Comités Técnicos:
COMITÉ TÉCNICO ACCT “VIALIDAD INVERNAL EN ALTA MONTAÑA Y ZONAS EXTREMAS”Se constituyó el 22 de enero 2014 y sus objetivos fundacionales son:
1.Constituir en Chile un Comité Técnico de Vialidad Invernal en Alta Montaña y Zonas Extremas que convoque la diversidad de personas e instituciones afines para trabajar en una agenda común para el crecimiento y desarrollo nacional en los tópicos invernales.2.Definir las áreas temáticas específicas de Chile en los temas invernales, identificando y desarrollando una agenda de trabajo y términos de referencia.3.Propiciar actividades para la investigación, desarrollo y divulgación de las mejores prácticas, así como la participación de los sectores afines a la temática invernal que sean necesarios para Chile.4.Informar periódicamente al Directorio de ACCT y designar un Presidente y una Secretaria Técnica del Comité.
Up to date , ACCT has constituted its following Technical Committees:
ACCT TECHNICAL COMMITTEE "ON WINTER ROADS HIGH MOUNTAIN S AND EXTREME ZONES"It was incorporated on January 22, 2014 and its founding objectives are:
1.Establish Technical Committee in Chile of Winter Road at High Mountain and extreme zones that convene the diversity of people and related working on a joint agenda for growth and national development institutions in the winter topics.2.Define the specific thematic areas of Chile in the winter issues, identifying and developing an agenda and terms of reference.3.Promote activities for research, development and diffusion of best practices as well as the participation of related sectors on winter topics, that it is necessary to Chile.4.Report periodically to the Board of ACCT and appoint a Chairman and a Technical Secretariat of the Committee.

COMITÉ TÉCNICO ACCT “TÚNELES”Se constituyó el 23 de enero 2014 y sus objetivos fundacionales son:
1.Desarrollar un primer informe de “Diagnóstico con la Situación Actual” y en función a ello, definir un Plan de Acción a corto plazo. La propuesta será informada al Directorio de ACCT.2.La Secretaría Técnica del Comité estará a cargo de preparar y distribuir un Boletín Informativo de las actividades del Comité (Newsletter), a lo menos con una periodicidad trimestral y con las actividades relacionadas a la temática de túneles informando noticias afines en Chile y otros países.3.Proponer al Directorio de ACCT la participación de otros interesados del sector público, privado, y académico para formar parte del Comité Técnico.4.Analizar y proponer al Directorio de ACCT un espacio de trabajo a través de un medio intranet o algún recurso en Internet que permita compartir y trabajar documentos entre los integrantes del Comité Técnico en forma lo más expedita posible.
TECHNICAL COMMITTEE ACCT "TUNNEL"It was established on January 23, 2014 and its founding objectives are:
1.Develop a preliminary report "Diagnosing the Current Situation" and according to this, define a plan of action in the short term. The proposal will be reported to the Board of ACCT.2.The Technical Secretariat of the Committee shall be to prepare and distribute a newsletter on the activities of the Committee (Newsletter), at least on a quarterly basis and the activities related to the theme of tunnels related news reporting in Chile and other countries.3.ACCT To propose the participation of other stakeholders in the public, private, and academic sectors to serve on the Technical Committee.4.Analyze and propose to the Board of ACCT workspace through half an intranet or Internet resource for sharing documents and work among the members of the Technical Committee as expeditiously as possible.
