Dear Friends,

The quickest way to summarize the past year is simply to say: IT’S WORKING. The efforts you have supported through ChildVoice are making a differ-ence. Thank you.

In this Annual Report, we offer an overview on the crucial “Discoveries” that have taken place during the past five years of active service to the girls traumatized by the war in this region.

93% of the girls ChildVoice has served these last five years are back in their communities, raising their families, working in meaningful jobs, not dependent on aid or outside help. IT IS WORKING!

This effort you are a part of is in one of the world’s most challenging places. We long to move faster and to serve more girls – and sense that, with your support, such opportunities are just ahead.

For now, let me briefly highlight some major events of the past year:

We broke ground for a new therapeutic center for the girls in May! We visited ChildVoice graduates and were thrilled to see the lives they are living. We gave our medical center to the local district – allowing it to be locally owned & managed. Our board has expanded, growing in size and ability. We finished our fiscal year in the black!

As remarkable as the past year has been, we are most excited about the year ahead. Two major thoughts: 1) We must finish the new Lukome Center to enhance the effort in Uganda - and -2) We feel ready to respond to opportunities to serve similar groups in other war-torn areas.

We hope you enjoy reading this annual report and are encouraged knowing your support is making this work possible. We are grateful for your partnership in ‘restoring the voices of children silenced by war.’

Sincerely,
