• A further 10 children’s centre to be established by 2010.

• varied and interesting activities for children – including to support non-academic forms of achievement;

• parenting support – including parent engagement with education;

• community access to ICT, sports & arts facilities;

• access to specialist support services – such as child and family health.

• 70% of secondary schools providing access to the full range of services

• 40% of primaries are fully operational

• expectation that all schools will be meeting the full core offer by 2010.

Extended school development in Wiltshire :




To:

• provide a range of activities which reflect local need

• develop partnerships between schools to promote inclusion and support behaviour and attendance

• identify and support children & young people who need additional help (at Level 2) – before their problems become more severe

• provide a framework for locality commissioning.
