CENTURY CITY CHILDREN’S MARKET

Applications for stalls must be submitted by Monday 18 November via email: [email protected]

All applicants will be notified of their acceptance or otherwise by Tuesday 19 November

Market Date: Sunday, 24 November 2018, 09h00 – 14h00

Location: Century City Clubhouse, 3 Park Lane, Century City

Who can apply: Children aged 9-15 are eligible to participate. We recommend making a

group (of five or less) siblings/friends/neighbours to create and sell a product.

What can you sell: All items must be handmade or home grown by you or your immediate

family. Food items, plants, vegetables and herbs, arts and crafts, and clothing, etc. are

permitted. No resale of items you purchase is permitted. For example, you would not be

allowed to buy cookies from a shop and resell them.

Fee: To confirm your stall a R50 refundable deposit is payable after you have been notified

that your application has been accepted and will be refunded to you at the end of market

day.

Space availability: Space is limited and will be assigned according to product diversity. Think

outside the box! We will provide 1 x 1.8m table per stall. You are welcome to make and bring

signs for pricing and advertising as well as table clothes and any other decorative items.

Chaperones: Each group must have one adult with them. The adult will be responsible for

overseeing the setup, sales and break down of the stall.

Waste: You are responsible for maintaining a clean environment in and around your stall. You

must ensure that all waste generated by your stall is placed in the bins provided.

Trading Hours, Arrival & Departure: Arrival time for setup is between 07h00 and 08h00.

Please be setup and ready for trade at 08h30, Stalls may not pack up before 14h00, unless by

prior arrangement.

any members of the general public attending this festival which are directly or indirectly

incurred by you whatsoever.

I/we understand our obligations and regulations as laid out in this agreement and hereby

undertake to abide by them, and the instructions of Century City Arts Foundation and their

designated representatives.
