    The imprtance the relatinship between childhdand spaces is rted in the

    Starting with a presentatin specic scenaris in the city, weaim t prduce a range visins, schemes and instantaneusideas that wuld ease, r make pssible, the presence childhd in public spaces. our aim is t strengthen the ties between schl spaces and thse the wider city, as well as between arts centres, the street, and the schl.

    We will display several prjects, prttypes schemes already

    carried ut in ther cities, t spark ideas as t hw spaces can becnnected thrugh design and creating a simple, but subtle slutins. The idea is t reinterpret and reactivate these cre ideas,always with childhd as the main cus.

    The grwing number saety measures linked t everything related t childhd, as well as the burgening regularizatin the use public spaces, are cnsiderably limiting the creatin play spaces in cities like Barcelna. Even s, these play restrictins are ten ignred and many public spaces intended rther (r n) uses are quickly transrmed int tball pitches.

    Dance areas r skate parks are ther examples. In this wrkshp we reect n this type apprpriatin (r reinterpretatin) public space.     tgether develp artistic prjects in schls, as a means cnceptualizing schl in relatin t its cntexts.The aim this wrkshp is t learn abut the prgram

The cllective's thinking is based n the idea that emptyspaces in a a neighburhd are a waste resurces and that itshuld be the neighburhd itsel that uses and manages it. Tbring abut these demands the grup have encuraged the participatin lcal residents and residents' assciatins t buildup a prject t administer and create a new space n the site.

    Bellvitge is a neighburhd Hspitalet, a city near Barcelna, built in the 1960s t huse the surge in emigrant labur rmther parts Spain. Its urban qualities are very characteristic drmitry cities, and an nging struggle by its residents r services and public spaces has turned it int a pleasant place t live.
