What is the CDBS Program?
The Child Development Behavioral Specialist (CDBS) providesbehavioral support and parenting skills training for families with children ages 0-5 who reside in Sutter County.
In order to qualify, children must be exhibiting challenging behaviors that may put them at risk of not being successful at home, in child care, preschool, or kindergarten.
The CDBS works with families to create an individualized behavior plan designed to build on the child’s strengths and increase positive behaviors and early school success.
Several times throughout the year and at various locations, the CDBS holds workshops and special events in the community.
The CDBS program and services are provided at no cost to parents regardless of income.
