*Chikungunya happened for the first time in Indonesia was in Samarinda 1973
*
Large epidemics were recognized in Transvaal of
South Africa, Zambia, India and South east Asia,
Philippines.

HEMATOLOGY
ANALYZER
* IMUNOSEROLOGY
Method: Antibody Chikungunya IgM
(imunoglobulin M)
1. RAPID TEST
Relative Sensitivity: 90.3%
RAPID TEST
*
1. Trombosit (platelet)
Normal value : 150-450 (/µl)
2. Leukocyte
Normal value : adult: 4,8-
10,8 (/µl),
children : 6,0-17,5 (/µl)
3. Erythrocyte
Normal value : male : 4,4-
5,9 (106/µl),
female: 3,8-5,2 (/µl).
4. ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)
Normal value : male : 0-8 mm/jam,
female : 0-15 mm/jam
5.Hematocrit
Normal value : male : 42-52 %,
female : 37-47 %
6. Hemoglobin
Normal value : male : 14-18 (g/dL),
female: 12-16 (g/dl),
children : 11,3-14,1 (g/dl)
**Stagnant water must be removed
*If there is a spread of Chikungunya then use insect repellants
* Use mosquito repellents, coils or other devices that will help fend off mosquitoes
* If possible, sleep under bed nets pre-treated with insecticides
* If possible, set the air-conditioning to a low temperature at night – mosquitoes do not like cold temperatures
*
