One thing Collision Ministries is here for, is to help you or your teenage student to succeed in their Christian walk. We do this by preparing them to battle and defeat the enemy. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. At Collision, we will equip you with the proper tools and knowledge you will need in life to be an effective spiritual giant among your peers. Collision is about you. You and your God. You and your purpose. God has great things planned for you. He wants to use you to bring justice; to defend the helpless; to feed the hungry, to give hope to the lost in despair; bottom line… to share the love and life of Jesus Christ everywhere you go. Collision will help you to fulfill your purpose; that is to help people experience the love of Jesus Christ through reaching out to your school, your community and the world. Come check us out. You are sure to find a few familiar faces and even better… someone new! We meet every Wednesday evening at 7pm and Sunday morning at 11am. The purpose of the local church is to connect us with each other, and to connect each other’s giftings. We are far more powerful as a team than we are individually. There is a church there. We support this church. These missionaries, Rufus & Deidre Whynot are winning the lost among these disadvantaged people. Oh the joy of sharing the love of Jesus. Oh the touch of God upon your heart. Tears will run down your eyes for the reality of how blessed we are and how we can bless others. It is such a great call. It is so amazing to experience the hand of God on your life as you step out to bring other people the love of Jesus. This church is all about helping others to find the door, the door to eternity. This church is all about casting the net. This church is all about raising up disciples to do the very same thing. We need to grow past our needs and past our wants into this great arena of service for the Lord. This is where fruitfulness begins. This is where fruitfulness abounds. This is our calling. This is our eternal destiny. You will discover that the greatest joy in life is to give your life away. You truly will find the joy of God within your life when you give joy to others. You will experience the love of God as you give your love to others. It is reciprocal. You cannot out give God. You cannot out love Him either. The more we give and the more we love and the more we do, the more His life pours trough us. What a way to live. It is a life of excitement, a life of joy and a life of fulfillment. Welcome to the journey, the journey of life fulfilling all that God has placed upon our hearts to do for Him. May He receive all the glory and honor for all the fruit- fulness in our lives. Jesus said that our lives will be weighed by the contributions we made to the Kingdom of God. In

God’s economy the only thing that matters is what we do for Him, His Kingdom and His Great Commission.

The local church is merely a focal point to keep our lives on track. A lot of people in the world follow aimless projects that really have no eternal value whatsoever. Eternity must always be the backdrop of our lives. The local church keeps this in mind. The purpose of the local church is to connect us with each other, and to connect each other’s giftings. We are far more powerful as a team than we are individually. The corporate anointing is so much greater than the individual anointing. The goal is to walk in unity to bring about the glory of God upon our church. Through the glory we can hear and see God; catching the vision that He has given us as a body of believers.

Who is serving at World Harvest Church?

People just like you!

Christine Bishop came to our church one Sunday and the next Saturday she was serving at our Car Shown, spending the bulk of her day behind the Concessions stand serving popcorn, soda, sno-cones and cotton candy.

Lucia Garrett called the church to ask how she could get more involved. She received a call from Art Sheffield to take part in Safe House. Lucia says, “My life was totally changed that day.”

Sam Blythe, Reggie Smith and John Stinebaugh attended the Children’s Ministry meeting and each gentleman signed up to take part in one of our children’s classes.

Charlotte Campbell answers the phones on Tuesday mornings from 9 am until 10:30 am so the staff can meet with the Pastor, have prayer time and get fueled for the week. Charlotte didn’t know the impact she was having until Pastor thanked her for, “letting us soak in the Holy Spirit.”

So what about you? Are you serving? If you are, we thank you for all your hard work and dedication. If not, we have lots of ministries, which means we are in need of lots of workers. Won’t you let God utilize your gifts today? Fill out an iServe application in the Visitor’s Center or call the church office at (770) 643-9223 and speak with Bonnie Tilley. Make an impact for the Kingdom!

By Kim Owens In our theme song,, there’s a line that says, “We got the power to walk it out; ready set, go it’s about to blow……. StreetReach!”

And blew it up we did on Labor day weekend, by going to (the highways and bi-ways) 13 apartment

communities and touching the lives of 369 children. At Concepts 21, with a big cheesy grin on her face, Laura couldn’t stop jumping up and down. She and so many more were excited that we were back. We witnessed 50 Salvations, 37 Rededications and 51 parents. “We got the power to walk it out.”

On Saturday, August 18th, we witnessed a dream come to fruition, the 1st Annual Roswell World Harvest Car Show. In at-tendance were approximately 70 cars.

“Not bad for a first show,” said Jim Gowan, owner of North Georgia Corvette. The show was slated to start at 9:00AM sharp. The team looked around the lot and saw just a few

cars. Just then, with a few minutes to spare, a cavalcade of cars started lining up on Hardscrabble Road, waiting to turn into the campus. “Woo Hoo, it’s really happening”, a group of us shouted. Despite a few bouts of rain, we had an unforgettable experience. Our guest were very friendly and excited to be here. There were vendors, plenty of food and a palatable peace over the property. Handmade trophies created a buzz and the message by Pastor Mirek, tugged on many hearts. At the end of the day, we made some new friends, and used another event to reach the lost.

WHC OUTREACH

God’s Plan for the Nations is YOU

It is hard to get your mind around the fact that God has called

you to be the one to change the world. How can one person do

something so significant, make a real impact? This week you

will have the opportunity to hear stories, see scriptures, meet

people and feel the Spirit of the Lord draw you, not only to His

heart and His vision for the nations, but show you how you can

leave a mark that last forever!

Ticketed Events: Women’s Caribbean Luncheon

Nov. 8th 11:30-1:00

International Gala

Nov. 9th 7:00pm

The Membership /Life Focus Classes have a new look with all

new manuals!

You may have seen some of the World Harvest Family walking around the

church campus on Sundays carrying a manual that looks like this. These are

our new Membership/Life Focus manuals, and these happy people have just

finished one of the Life Focus classes. The new logo signifies how God can

take all the gifts and callings in your life and focus them into a powerful laser

beam-like effect that will greatly impact your life, the lives of those around

you and the purposes of the Kingdom of God!

God has ordained that all this be accomplished through discipleship. We need to be continually grow-ing in our knowledge and application of the truths in God’s Word along with allowing the Holy Spirit to make all these things real to us. We cannot grow to our full potential on our own. So check out the Membership/Life Focus Classes and see what is being offered to truly benefit your walk with the Lord.

Membership Class is offered on the first Saturday of every month.

Life Focus Classes are held year round every Sunday at 9:30 am.

A Side Benefit….. “I came to

Membership to join the church. I had no

idea I would make so many friends. Now

I KNOW people and recognize faces

when I come to church!”

….a recent Life Focus student.
