The donation is part of the pet food company’s Fill A Bowl… Feed A Soul™ (FABFAS) program, a national campaign aiming to provide one million meals for pets in need annually. “We are pleased to help the Whatcom Humane Society with this donation,” said Chris Mitchell, Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food CEO. “Our mission is to help all pets eat well, no matter what their circumstances. Families facing economic challenges should not have to worry about feeding their beloved pets during tough times. Food banks like the one offered through WHS are a lifeline to those families fighting to keep their pets healthy, safe and at home.” “We are very grateful to Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food for their generous donation. Our food bank program provides temporary assistance to families and their pets during difficult times. Donations like this are what keep the shelves full.
