The Support Group (TSG) is a (501c3) nonprofit organization servicing Chicagoland

under-served youth from diverse backgrounds and communities since 1989. TSG

provides youth with invaluable experiences that will assist them in reaching their full

potential, while arming them with tools and skills needed to matriculate prepare them

for post-secondary education, the workforce and beyond. The Support Group is the

brain-child of the Executive Director, Bennie Henry. The Support Group has touched

thousands of lives over the years. In 2019 it will be 30 years of service in the

Chicagoland community.

The mission of The Support Group is to create an overall balance that affords

unlimited opportunities for young men and women to excel and succeed. This is

accomplished through educational programs, team-building activities, athletic

programs which enhance critical thinking skills, and character building. Our goal is to

ensure that youth become productive citizens.

PARTNERS OVERVIEW

The mission of Team Rose (TR), through the powerful collaboration of Derrick Roseand his brother Reginald Rose, commitment and focus was coupled by the strength of thefamily. Team Rose was created to fulfill the urgency of education and physical healthenrichment throughout communities abroad. The XS Tennis and Education Foundation Mission is to provide Chicago’s underservedyouth with an enriching safe-haven and positive academic/athletic pathway to collegethrough a community-based sports and academic enrichment program. Over the comingyears, XSTEF’s Mission is to introduce as many Chicago youth as possible to XSTEF’sprogram on the pathway to college, graduate school, and successful futures.

EVENTS-AT-A-GLANCE

CLASC Teen Summit Empowerment and Leadership Summit brings together high school students from Chicagoland schools fora one-day symposium of self-expression and learning. CLASC All White Legends Ball/ Comedy Show celebrates the Legends of Basketball and the contributions they have made to thegame and the community . The nights entertainment will bring to the stage the funniest local and national comedians. Attendees willenjoy dinner, cocktails, music, a silent auction, and networking. CLASC Youth Game is an opportunity to showcase the next generation of players from the Chicagoland area where they candemonstrate the skills they worked on over the summer . CLASC Celebrity Basketball Game is an opportunity for over 10,000 spectators to watch their favorite entertainers and celebritiesparticipate in a celebrity basketball game. CLASC All-Star Basketball Game is a summer basketball games, featuring some of the best players coming together to support a charitable causes.
