Foreword

In Japan, about 2,860,000 students learn it at about 720universities. Of these, about 620,000 students learn it in87 national universities.

Kyushu University is a national university made to thefourth established in 1911.Today, the university has more than 18,000 studentsenrolled, in its 11 undergraduate schools, 17 graduate schools, 16 graduate faculties, 3 research institutes, university hospital and in other areas.

ITO New Campus is 15km away from center of Fukuoka City.An area of ITo New campus is 275ha, the East-West length are 3km,the North-South length are 2km.It is Hakozaki Campus and Ropponmatsu Campus and Harumachi Farmthat relocate to ITO New Campus.Part of Hakozaki Campus ended relocation, about 5,000 peoples are activenow in this campus.When relocation of Ropponmatsu campus is over in 2009, active peopleincrease to About 1,1000 peoples.Finally,about 20,000 peoples are going to be active in this campus.
