2011 Snowman Spectacular Ball

• FILM

• 2011 Ball

• Robbie ‘auctioning’ Pay For A Day

• 40 seconds of film

• From 1min50sec to 2min30sec

Observations

• Groundwork and homework

• Major donor champion or Patron

• Not a quick fix

• Pledges have to be chased

• Donors pay for multiple days

• Tax efficient

• Product picked up outside major

donors

Observations

• Some donors want to be anonymous

(but still choose ‘their’ day)

• Repeatable – hard not to do your day

• Lots of engagement

• Needs dedicated staff

• Works well at events and also 1-1

• Extending to Pay For An Hour

Results

• £750,000 in less than two years

• Over 120 pledges

• 90% pledges honoured

• Significant source of income

• Now we need to put the price of a

day up!
