KGaA, Weinheim Tellurium I 0053 DOI: 10.1002/chin.201108006 A Facile Route for the Synthesis of Polycationic Tellurium Cluster Compounds: Synthesis in Ionic Liquid Media and Characterization by Single-Crystal X-Ray Crystallography and Magnetic Susceptibility. — As revealed by single crystal XRD compound (III) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with Z = 4, (VI) in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with Z = 4, and (VIII) in the monoclinic space group P2 1 /c with Z = 8. In (III) the two Mo III atoms are coordinated by terminal η 4 rings and two bridging η 2 dumbbells. The compound is paramagnetic. The structure of (VI) contains planar polycations and tetrahedral anions.
