What is the general condition of these tools

Are tools properly stored

Are guards and safety devices operational

Are tools equipped with constant pressure switches

Are tool retainers supplied with air tools

Are correct voltages and settings being used

Are load ratings correct for work being done

Are all tools included in a preventive maintenance program

Are dead man switches provided on grinders

Are strike tools kept free from mushrooming

Ergonomics

Is seating in good condition

Are all switched, shut-offs, sample points accessible

Is material to be handled well controlled i.e. Table height, distance etc.

Are all displays functional and in keeping with standards

Is scaffolding correctly secured at regular intervals

No accumulation of materials and tools on scaffold

No altering of scaffolds while being used

For scaffolds in specialized areas are they designed

Are rolling scaffold height to width ratios 4:1

Are loading/unloading fluid area pipe connections blanked when not in use

Are all aisles and access ways clear

Are height limitations adhered to

Are irregular shaped items correctly stacked

Are all stacks stable and secured against collapsing

Are all storage areas clean, managed and controlled

Are stored areas and goods as per insurance requirements

Are items correctly segregated and signed

Are items of high value secured
