Kathy was a senior editor at Saveur , where she worked from 1998 to 2007; prior to that she was at Gourmet and Food Arts. She was a restaurant reviewer for the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong from 1994 to 1996 and a staff writer at The Daily Yomiuri in Tokyo from 1991 to 1993, covering everything from G-7 Summits to fashion, films, and food. She finished first in her class from New York’s French Culinary Institute (now The International Culinary Center) in 1994, and held jobs and stages in restaurants in New York and Hong Kong before entering food publishing. A graduate of Bryn Mawr College with a degree in English Literature, she has traveled extensively in Europe and Asia, and enjoys cooking at home as much as she does eating out. Caroline Campion—Caroline Campion’s love of food and cooking is inspired by her grandmother, a masterful home cook whose joy for feeding her family, her confidence behind the stove, and her diligence for always using the best ingredients formed the foundation for Caroline’s future as a home cook and food writer. Caroline started her career at Good Housekeeping Magazine, went on to GQ, and then to Glamour where she was a senior editor and is currently a contributing editor. She landed her “dream” magazine job when she became a senior editor at Saveur , where she worked with Colman Andrews and Melissa Hamilton. While at Saveur she worked with Kathy, which was a precursor to their future collaboration. She has also written for The New York Times, Time Out NY , Details, Martha Stewart Living and Redbook. Caroline started a food blog called DevilandEgg. com, where she shares recipes and chronicles her food adventures. Since its inception, Devil & Egg has received various accolades, including “Babble’s Top 50 Food Bloggers”, Fine Cooking favorite food blog, and Jamie Oliver Blog of the Month. Devil & Egg has also been profiled in Martha Stewart Living and the site Momfilter. Caroline has also recently appeared on an episode of Dr. Oz for her healthy California Nacho recipe.
