How to make the Best Cheesecake

A Quick Trip to the Store
• Before starting this cheesecake you must make sure that you have all ingredients.
• Make a quick trip to the store.
Ingredients/Measuring Utensils
• 1 package of Yellow Cake Mix
• 2 Tablespoons of Crisco• 2 packages of 8 ounce
Softened cream cheese• ¾ cup of Sugar• 4 Eggs• 1 ½ cup of Milk• 3 Tablespoons of Lemon
Juice • 1 ½ teaspoon of Vanilla
Extra• 1 can of Cherry/Strawberry
Topping
• Tablespoon• Dry Measuring Cups• Liquid Measuring Cups• Teaspoon• Mixing Bowl• Mixing Spoon
Starting the Cheesecake
• The very first thing that must be done is to preheat the oven to 300 degrees
Making the Cheesecake
• The first step is to measure out 1 cup of dry yellow cake mix.
• Set this cake mix aside from everything else
Making the Crust
• In a large mixing bowl stir together the remaining dry cake mix, 1 egg, and crisco oil

• Press crust evenly into a 13 by 9 by 2 inch pan
• Go up the sides of the pan about ¾
Making the Cream Cheese filling• In a bowl blend 2 packages of 8 ounce
cream cheese and ¾ cup of sugar together
Filling continued……
• After blending cream cheese and sugar well, add 3 eggs and the reserved cake mix.
• Beat 1 minute at medium speed.
Filling continued….
• At low speed add milk, lemon juice, and vanilla extract
• Do not add quickly but gradually mix in each ingredient.
• Mix until smooth
Finishing Up
• Pour the filling into the already made crust
• Bake the cheesecake on 300 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes or until center is firm
One last touch
• Let the cheesecake cool to room temperature
• Spoon on cherry/strawberry pie filling
Cheesecake is Ready to Go• Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour and
then your ready to serve it.
