SAP currently does plan to validate Hana on Intel Westmere EP & Nehalem EP based servers and blades from HP, IBM and Fujitsu in the 2011 timeframe.

SAP does intend to support the ability to run heterogeneous Hana landscapes, wherein parts of the system run on older, Westmere EP or Nehalem EP HW, and parts of the system run on Nehalem EX –based hardware that will be certified as standard for

Hana. Certain restrictions may prevail. For example, it is likely that the EP systems will run a bit slower than EX, and that full optimization in heterogeneous landscapes might not be achieved. For example, it may not be possible to allocate larger portions of

the workload to the Nehalem-based servers in such heterogeneous deployments. The validation of Hana on Westmere EP and Nehalem EP based servers requires the consent of SAP‟s BWA and Hana HW partners. This commitment has yet to be made by

all such vendors as of November 26th 2010)

This matrix shows generic NetWeaver support only and does not make statements about

browser support in specific applications.

The Firefox Browser will be supported ‚as-is„, i.e. SAP does not give any warranties for Firefox

issues for which Mozilla bears responsibility.

The PAM lists major browser releases supported by SAP. In general, SAP recommends the

highest available patch level for that browser release.

Windows 2000 is only supported on the client, not on the server. For more information, please

read the detailed information on client support in PPMS.

Once a browser (version) or platform is no longer supported by the manufacturer, SAP will

remove it from these slides.
