This report is considered to be a fair and accurate record of the contents and condition of the subject property. Should any amendments need to be made please e-mail us 7 days of receipt. If no amendments are received within this time all parties are deemed to have agreed with the contents of this report. This report does not form any part of a survey or structural report and is not intended to be used for valuation purposes. The inspection extends to areas that are readily accessible. The Purple Property representative will not inspect lofts, basements, high-level cupboards or similar if access is restricted. Communal areas that are not relevant to the inventory & check in or check out are specifically excluded. Meter readings can only be taken if meters are accessible and clearly labelled. We are not held liable should meters not be located or accessible to read. The relevant utility companies must check all meter readings, as we cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies. We consider items such live house plants, cleaning products, candles, letters, newspapers, magazines etc, perishable. Books, DVD and other similar items will not be listed individually but will be stated as ‘collections’. Excessive amounts of assorted crockery, cutlery, glasses etc will be listed as "assorted" items.

We thoroughly check the property and its contents, however our clerks cannot move extremely heavy Contents. We will not report on areas such as overcrowded drawers & cupboards. We will not report on assorted contents in boxes, plastic sacks and other containers.

All items are described for identification purposes. Sizes of objects are given only as approximate for the sole purpose of identification. The complier of this report is not an expert in fabrics, woods, materials, antiques, etc

Lighting and electrical appliances, other similar items will only be tested for power where practical. Burglar alarms, panic alarms, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms are not tested.

All items should be returned to the relevant rooms as listed on the original Inventory before the Check Out inspection is car ried out. Where items have not been returned to their original positions as stated on the check in and are not easily seen they made be noted as “Not Seen” on the Check Out and their replacement may be charged for.
