Where to stayWith up to 200,000 fans descending on the event and only limited accommodation available in Bathurst and the surrounding towns, we advise you to get in quick!

Bathurst The circuit on Mount Panorama is located at the end of town and regular shuttles operate over race weekend. Accommodation rates are at a premium and there is usually a minimum 4 or 5 night stay over the race period.

Orange Orange is a vibrant country town about 45 minutes easy drive from Bathurst. Accommodation in Orange still sells out quickly as it’s a popular option with motorsport fans.

Ticket categoriesTrackside tickets are perfect for fans who want to bring their own blanket, chairs or move around the circuit and soak up all the colour and atmosphere. Upgrade to a grandstand and get a reserved seat.

Grandstand 1

The best view of pit entry and all the action that takes place on the final turn. Located on the outside of the track and a prime viewing position of gravel trap action as the cars complete their high speed descent of the mountain. This stand is not covered. Grandstand 7 Located on the outside of the track on pit straight directly across from the podium and pit garages. Witness all the start/finish line action. This stand is not covered. Grandstand 8 Directly across from the pit garages and one of the best places to witness all the start/finish line action from. A partially covered permanent structure with a big screen directly opposite. Grandstand 10 The largest Grandstand on track. Located on the outside of the track on pit straight with front row views of pit lane and the big screen. This stand is not covered. Grandstand 12 Located on the outside of the track at the exit of turn one. Best views of the pit lane exit and prime viewing position to witness the start or race carnage before the cars ascend the mountain. Covered stand.

Shared lounge, kitchen and barbeque areas. Centrally located with a flat 150m stroll to the main street. The shuttle to Mt Panorama leaves from nearby. Rooms are serviced weekly. Bathurst Explorers, BathurstSuperb location just 5 minutes drive to Mt Panorama yet easy walking distance to local bars and restaurants.
