Basic outline of idea The idea of this chat show will be about video

games and all of the individual sectors of video games such as the triple-A’s, the independent selection and games which deserve the attention in the presenter’s opinion

The show will have segments dedicated to reviews to be done by the presenter much like the Clueless Gamer segments on Conan http://youtu.be/EB_XX_IM8io?t=8m25s but also take the analytical approach like TotalBiscuit’s videos on YouTube http://youtu.be/9Brqv-SK4F0?t=12m16s

The Unique Selling Points (USP)

The unique selling points of this, in my opinion, will be the fact that this the chat show meant for gamers because there has never been such a thing before on television aside from a channel selection on TV in america called X-Play which is now dead due to gamers hating the channel.

Another unique selling point is that we will get exclusive footage and the show will be your *1 place for gaming news and rumors like GTA V’s PC port leaks or Guillermo del Toro teasing the game “Insane”.

Visual Style The visual style will be a mix between Alan

Carr’s show and the 8-bit style of Pac-Man where the background is the Pac-Man maze with the studio layout of Alan Carr: Chatty Man

Locations The location of shooting will take place in

the Media Green screen room meaning that we can simply develop and design a background to hang on the rail and pretend that is the design of the show.

Another possible location could be in one of the rooms in the LRC where I’v3e heard from the staff there that the FIFA club is hosted in one of those rooms*

*The room will be confirmed

Target Audience The target audience in mind, for this

particular subject matter, will be for 15-35 year olds who will be familiar with the gaming industry and those only. Anyone new to the gaming scene will be introduced via the intro of the show which will show a bunch of games they may or nay not have heard of through word of mouth so that they can recognize a mascot they remember.

Basic scenario in form of a script

Presenter: So, Grand Auto Theft V seems to be doi— (Rockstar developer interrupts presenter) *record scratch* “camera zooms in on the

developer” “Dramatic hamster music”

Developer: Hold on?, Did you just say Grand Auto Theft V? Presenter: Yeah? Isn’t that what the game’s called? Developer: I think you mean Grand Theft Auto V? Presenter: Ohhh, My apologies good sir, I was mixed with the

new DLC released for Saints Row IV, the game’s competitor, that attempted to capitalize on the game’s populartity

Developer: That tends to happen since Volition merely wants to cash in to make sure they’re game sells as many copies as ours.
