2016 marks Charwick Study Center's 35th year providing educational and leadership programs to women of all ages in the Bay Area. Charwick opened its doors in 1981 with a mission to inspire and educate women to live with integrity, work with professional excellence, and improve the lives of those around them. The programs Charwick Study Center sponsors are open to women of all ages and backgrounds and are rooted in a Christian understanding of the dignity of each person and the importance of everyday tasks. We began small, but thanks to the generous help and support of countless people, we have Transforming Culture 35 Years grown and made a significant impact in the community. Today, Charwick Study Center offers leadership programs, summer camps, counselor training programs, several classes and workshops on faith formation and personal development, as well as numerous service projects in our community and abroad. We thank you for your support and look forward to many more years of serving women in the Bay Area and beyond! CHARWICK TODAY

Approximately 1,000 womenand girls are served by Charwickannually. An average of 50-75women participate inCharwick’s programs on anygiven week.

100-150 women attend specialmother-daughter eventsthroughout the year.

An average of 25women participate inMothers Exchange, amonthly discussiongroup on effectivecommunication inmarriage and parenting.

150 youth participate in theannual summer camps (SierraStars and Pacific Northwestcamps). 45 high school studentsvolunteer time as counselors inCharwick’s camps.

40+ middle and high school girlsattend the ChallengeHerLeadership Program.

30 2nd through 5thgraders enjoylearning abouthome skills , science,

and virtues duringthe Discovery HillsDay Camp.

Dozens of students and youngprofessionals participate in monthlyservice activities, which includevisits to the sick and elderly in thecommunity.

Summer Leadership Camps
