Getting qualified

CIPD professional membership helps candidates set the standard for professional excellence in their organisations, at entry level, mid-management or as leaders of an HR and L&D function. Recognised by employers worldwide, CIPD members meet internationally recognised standards and have the ability to make a real impact in the workplace.

Who is it for?

CIPD is delivered as an open course for individuals and as an in-house customised training for our corporate clients. The programme is suitable for:

• HR or L&D managers

• Talent or L&D heads

• HR and L&D officers

• HR consultants

• Anyone looking to develop a career in HR

Eligibility criteria

There are no formal educational pre-requisites. If a candidate’s educational background is not in English, candidate must demonstrate a high standard of verbal and written English to be admitted to a CIPD Programme.

Candidates may be required to complete a pre-assessment to demonstrate their English language competence prior to enrolment.

Candidates can contact us with evidence of their achievements and experience to determine which level they will be eligible for.

Assessments

There are no exams in CIPD. Candidates are assessed on an on-going basis on completion of:

• Written assignments such as reports, essays, and case studies

• Personal development plans

• Interviews, performance reviews and other skills based assessments

A candidate must pass each module to get the Certificate or Diploma.

Certificate and membership

In order to receive the CIPD Certificate, candidates need to enroll as a Student Member with CIPD prior to enrolling for the training programme. Upon successful completion of the programme, candidates will be eligible to apply for Associate Membership and use the designation Associate CIPD next to their name (subject to having relevant work experience).

Level 3 Foundation qualification in HR

Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Practice

The CIPD Level 3 qualification provides candidates a firm foundation in all areas of HR. It will help them develop essential HR skills and give them the confidence and knowledge to work more effectively, adding value to the HR function and to the organisation.

Who is it for?

The CIPD Level 3 qualification is suitable for candidates who are new to the HR role or those who have worked in HR for a number of years but do not have any formal qualification.

Candidates will also have the opportunity to extend their development and enhance the certificate qualification by taking additional modules for the Foundation Diploma in HR1.

CIPD Level 5 qualification in HR provides candidates a broad perspective of the organisational issues facing HR professionals and enables them to further develop their analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.

Who is it for?

The CIPD Level 5 qualification is suitable for experienced HR Professionals looking to develop their management skills, working as independent consultants within HR or for those who are responsible for HR activities in an organisation where HR is not a specialist function. Candidates should either have the required work experience or have completed the Level 3 qualification.

Candidates also have the opportunity to extend their development and enhance the certificate qualification by taking additional modules for the Intermediate Diploma in HR1.

• Support courses specially designed to help candidates clear assessments and get qualified

• Support courses: We regularly run support courses on various topics such as content generation, writing skills, etc. to help develop essential study skills. Our trainers and training consultants are also readily available to provide any additional support candidates may need outside the classroom.
