INTENDED OUTCOMES
• Provide updates relevant to charter schools and their CMOs related to school re-opening.
• Review the parameters of the Continuous Learning Plan and clarify ideal outcomes.
• Facilitate opportunities for questions related to school re-opening, CLPs, and other areas pertinent to charter schools and CMOs that can be addressed directly either during this session or in follow-up individual meetings throughout the month of July.

GOVERNOR’S ANNOUNCEMENT On Monday, Governor Lee extended the State of Emergency related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to August 29, 2020. This order extends provisions and other regulations around containing and treating the pandemic.
The Governor is scheduled to convene a press conference this afternoon to provide further information related to any impact on school calendars and re-opening.

CONTINUOUS LEARNING PLANS: Tailored Assistance to Charters
TDOE is working in partnership with the Tennessee Charter School Center to facilitate multiple sets of “office hours”, work sessions, and technical assistance offerings to charter schools and CMOs as they undertake the development of their CLPs.
TDOE will e-mail charter schools and
CMOs its schedule by Thursday, July 2nd.
TCSC has reserved July 14th & 16th for tailored CLP support sessions
for K-8 and 6-12 campuses.
