Staffing and budget:Mrs. Drayton-Rogers stated during her opening remarks that the current budgetcontained only the balance left after payment of clerk time from the prior Commission. She

suggested that the Commission consider staffing requirements for the balance of the fiscal yearand submit a fund ing request to the Board of Selectmen so that they could forward the requestto the Board of Finance. Mr. Olbrys acknowledged that while Mrs. Hardy was reco rding theminutes for this meeting, no commitment had been made on her part to continue as clerk. Heasked if she wanted to continue to act as clerk. Mrs. Hardy expressed her concerns abouttaking on the clerking at this time, especially because she had several personal matters pendingthat could interfere with that additiona l commitment. She asked if the Commission cou ld findsomeone to take the minutes at hearings and meetings, or transcribe them if taped, and shecould continue to prepare notices, agendas and all other reports. No resolution was reached,but Ms. West sa id she would make some inquiries for a clerk .Brett Olbrys moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:52, seconded by Mary Androski. All ayes.
