PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL COMMUNION Lord Jesus, I believe that you are truly present in the most
Holy Sacrament of the Altar. I love you above all things and
desire to receive You into my heart. Since I cannot now
receive you in your personal Eucharistic presence, I ask
you to come into my heart spiritually, and to give me the
abiding presence of Your love and comfort. I embrace You as
if You are already within me, and I unite myself totally to
You. Never permit me to be separated from you. Holy Mary,
Mother of the Eucharist, pray for me and for the entire
world. AMEN
All Masses are cancelled until further notice. Mass intentions can be rescheduled for a later time. As of this publishing, private devotion in
the church is still allowed.

JESUS CHRIST, you traveled through towns and villages curing every disease and illness. At your command, the sick were made well. Come to our aid now, in the midst of the global spread of the coronavirus, that we may experience your healing love. Heal those who are sick with the virus. May they regain their strength and health through quality medical care. Heal us from our fear, which prevents nations from working together and neighbors from helping one another. Heal us from our pride, which can make us claim invulnerability to a disease that knows no borders.
Jesus Christ, healer of all, stay by our side in this time of uncertainty and sorrow. Be with those who have died from the virus. May they be at rest with you in your eternal peace. Be with the families of those who are sick or have died. As they worry and grieve, defend them from illness and despair. May they know your peace.
Be with the doctors, nurses, researchers and all medical professionals who seek to heal and help those affected and who put themselves at risk in the process. May they know your protection and peace. Be with the leaders of all nations. Give them the foresight to act with charity and true concern for the well-being of the people they are meant to serve. Give them the wisdom to invest in long-term solutions that will help prepare for or prevent future outbreaks. May they know your peace, as they work together to achieve it on earth. -AMEN

The diocesan offices have been informed that a few donors to Partners in Charity are receiving
calls asking for gifts of support for the Bishops’ Fund. A wise donor knowing that our appeal is no
longer identified as the Bishops’ Fund reported it. Please know that neither our office nor the
Diocese solicits gifts of support for Partners in Charity over the phone; gifts are solicited by mail, online, or through the parish. Please call 508-929-4368 if you have received any such phone calls.
Last weekend’s “Drive Up” blessing. It was truly inspiring to see so many who
came to the church to receive blessings
from Fr. Bob and Deacon Bill.
NEXT WEEKEND IS PASSION SUNDAY. How can you continue to prepare for
Easter? To continue your Lenten journey consider the LENTEN MEDITATION on
the next page and check out Formed.org to prepare at home. Blessings!

WELCOME to St. Joseph Parish, we are glad you are
here. If you are new to the parish and need to register,
please contact the parish office at 508-248-7862.
In preparation for Our Lord’s Passion, Death and Resurrection. Please read and reflect on the Last Will and Testament of the Lord as recorded in the Gospel of St. John chapters 14, 15, 16 and 17. These should be read and pondered over a period of time, with the focus that He is addressing each of us personally. Then go on to read the Passion account beginning again in John’s Gospel chapters 18 and 19. These should be reflected upon thinking about how Jesus must have felt. Do you detect anger, hostility or vengeance in any of these accounts? Then let us ask ourselves, how this applies to our own lives, especially when w are the victims of hurt, rejection and hostility.
