What’s In A Name?In 1933 Charlie Kauffman was born to a

local businessman/poultry farmer and his

school teacher wife who supplied eggs &

flowers to local stores and beach goers.

Later his father supplied feed to poultry

farmers. The only auto dealership in the

area was owned by Kauffman & Magee.

Charlie grew up happily next door to

grandparents’ who rented rooms and

offered board to beach vacationers. In this

rich heritage was the foundation for a

successful Real Estate Broker/developer

entrepreneur. He delighted in giving

opportunities to friends and family in

business ownership. In this spirit we

proudly call our BBQ business after our

step father.
