•  CHORUS  (first  service  of  CHOR  Inc.)  now  offers  an  open  technology  pla?orm  to  meet  the  public  access  needs  of  funding  agencies  and  researchers  

•  For  all  key  stakeholders:  •  Funding  agencies  (iden)fies  and  provides  access  to  arGcles  reporGng  

on  research  they  fund,  ensures  preserva)on  of  research  arGcles,  ensures  researcher  and  publisher  compliance)  

•  Authors/researchers/insGtuGons  (simplifies  compliance  with  funder  mandates,  provides  access  to  research  results)  

•  Libraries  (ensures  preserva)on  of  research  arGcles,  provides  access  to  research  results)  

•  The  public  (provides  access  to  arGcles  reporGng  on  publicly  funded  research)  

•  Publishers  (simplifies  compliance  with  funder  mandates,  retains  traffic  )  

 

•  No  significant  cost  for  agency  use  or  parGcipaGon  because    CHORUS  builds  on  exisGng  infrastructure  in  the  publishing  community    (CrossRef,  FundRef,  Prospect,  CLOCKSS,  PorGco,  ORCID,  etc)
