Foresite Group worked in coordination with our client, CHC Consulting, to complete a market feasibility study, for a Tier 1 service provider, as it pertains to the acceptance and opportunity for a fiber to the home (FTTH) network deployment. Our team performed all end to end work associated with the project. Weekly meetings were held with CHC Consulting, and the end client, to discuss progress and ensure that our end deliverable was being orchestrated to meet their needs. All research and documentation was conducted, organized onto a web based file system, and ultimately delivered to the end client. The final deliverables included full access/delivery of the file system, a spreadsheet matrix that gave an executive summary with notes and hyperlinks to all supplemental information, and a PowerPoint type summary of the study.

In addition to performing the research required by the project, Foresite Group compiled a high-level budget assessment of the market area. Using GIS tools, our team gathered land base data that provided coverage metrics. We also contacted our construction partners in the marketplace to obtain pricing for performing tasks associated with a network build. After compiling the data, we provided a cost to build estimate for the market area. The cost to build estimate was utilized to aid in deciding to enter the market, or not.
