O, please don’t feel guilty it was just my time to go.I see you are still feeling sad, and the tears just seem to flow.We all come to earth for our lifetime, and for some it’s not
many years I don’t want you to keep crying you are shedding so many tears. I haven’t really left you even though it may seem so. I have just gone to my heavenly home, and I am closer to you than you know. Just believe that when you
say my name, I’m standing next to you, I know you long to see me, but there is nothing I can do. But I’ll still send you
messages and hope you understand, that when your time comes to cross over, I’ll be there to take your hand.

ObituaryOrder of ServiceCharles E. Brooks was born on September 1, 1965 in Tunica,
Mississippi. He was called home on August 18, 2012. Charles was preceded in death by his brother, William. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Andrea Brooks. He is survived by his parents, William and Irma Brooks; sons, Tavares Brooks (mother Andrea), Bernardus (step-son), Charles Jr. and Antonio (mother Selinia Brooks-Cole); brothers, Linell, Dennis and Ronnie; sisters, Mary Gloria Martha and Barbara; three grandchildren and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, god brothers and god sisters, and friends.
As a child Charles was the comedian of the family and always had a way to keep a smile on your face. He enjoyed being around family and friends. Charles came to Cleveland over 20 years ago, were he was employed at Erico Industrial. He was a kind hearted, high spirited and uplifting person. Charles was happy with his life. He enjoyed playing pool, dominos and cards with his sons and god brothers and sisters. He also enjoyed his trips to be with his mother, father, family and friends.
