Objective, definition and justification of
the indicator
The wooded forest corresponds to the substratum defined as forest in the National Forest Inventory (Inventario Forestal Nacional). It seeks to reflect the part of the territory of the national park that maintains wooded forest, with or without commercial exploitation.
Measurement parameters Percentage of the forest area respect to the total area of the park.
Calculation formula Forest area multiplied by 100 divided by the total area of the park.
Unit of measurement Percentage rate, result of dividing hectares by hectares.

It seeks to reflect uses of the territory by uses that do not entail an irreversible transformation of the national park.
