Wood is one of the most valuable raw materials supplied by nature. The unique characteristics of solid wood offers the beauty of the works of nature.

Each tree has its own personality and grain pattern in-spired by the elements of nature and its environment.

The cells of wood are mostly long and narrow, like small tubes or pipes, and extend up and down the tree. Through the sapwood, the sap is carried from its roots to feed the leaves.

After the wood has been cut, it must be dried, or sea-soned. A living tree contains a great deal of water, thus

when wood dries it loses this water, causing it to shrink considerably. It takes careful handling to properly dry lumber.

Solid hardwoods will expand and contract with the chang-es in temperature and humidity, therefore, it is important to keep the humidity in the 35 to 45 percent range to avoid cracking or warping, which is a natural character of solid wood.

Furniture made with solid hardwoods can add a rich, warm and charming touch to your home, and when properly cared for, will create a legacy for future generations.

Stain is applied to protect the wood by using a spray gun for even application then worked in by hand to remove excess. After a light sanding to smooth out any raised grain, each piece receives two finish coats to provide a durable surface that resists stains and scratches.

In just a few easy steps you can go from a

CRIB to a DAYBED of from a CRIB to a FULL

Size BED.

FROM CRIB TO DAYBED

By removing 4 screws the footboard of the

crib can be removed and replaced with a

conversion board for daybed (sold separately)

using the existing crib springs and mattress.

FROM CRIB TO FULL SIZE BED

By removing the footboard, mattress and

springs of the crib, and attaching the

headboard and footboard to the bed rails

and slats (sold separately) you now have

a full sized bed ready to complete with a

full size box spring and mattress, (purchase

separately).
