Call to Order: Vice-Chair Derek Yates Called the meeting to order.

Statement of Equality: Treasurer Dave Ibach read the AUPE Statement of Equality.

Approval of Minutes: All in favour of passing minutes from last meeting.

Attendance: DerekYates, Dave Ibach, Tanya Hallock, Richelle Topping, Ken Rose, Nena Knoxand guest Sara Walker.

Agenda Items:

1) Annual General Meeting 2016 - Chapter 15: Derek Yates opened discussionsurrounding the 2016 AGM. The Chapter was asked for suggestions on date, time andlocation for the meeting. It was also suggested that if the AGM was held and a contracthad not been settled to invite the bargaining rep. Cost was discussed and Dave Ibachprovided the numbers from the previous AGM. It was decided that cost should bereduced in 2016. The Chapter discussed door prizes, food and communications. SaraWalker suggested to contact Loretta O'Bear for AGM posters which could be provided in.pdf and hard copies. Dave Yates also asked that the Chapter Executive be prepared tohave their reports and budgets ready for the AGM. Chapter was asked to look intolocations and pricing. One motion was passed:

· Chapter 15 will hold the AGM on March 15, 2016 @18:00. Chapter 15 will supplyfood and three door prizes. Cost of AGM shall not exceed $1000.

2) Christmas Promotion 2015: Dave Yates asked the Chapter Council to decide if theywould like to organize a AUPE Christmas Promotion for 2015. The Chapter decided yes.Ken Rose requested that some of the chapter members visit the smaller sites that haveAUPE GSSmembers to hand out hot chocolate/cookies/candy canes and give themembers draw tickets. He expressed the importance of including all AUPEGSSmembers. Discussion led to two motions.

· Chapter 15 will visit Oyen, Brooks, Bow Island and Medicine Hat GSS Sites andhand out hot chocolate, candy canes and cookies to members. Not to exceed$1000.

· Chapter 15 will purchase 4 Christmas Food Baskets to be drawn in the amount of$150/each. (All basket winners will be drawn from all collective tickets from thefour areas)

3) New Hire Books: Chapter Chair Andrew Anderson received AUPE new hire informationhand books. These handbooks are to be given to new hires and anyone who has notreceived one may request a copy.

4) Kathy Anderson - Chapter Secretary Replacement: Derek Yates asked the attendeesof the meeting who would like to volunteer to step in for Kathy and fulfill the Secretaryduties while she is away. Nena Knox volunteered and will replace Kathy until such timeas it is no longer needed.
