TECHNICAL PROPOSALLOGISTIC REQUIREMENTS
CHAPTERVI
Facilities and logistic requirement
In order to carry out the Study as presented in this Proposal in an efficient, timely and cost effective manner, the Consultant will require the followings facilities, equipment and services.
6.1 OFFICE ACCOMMODATION
The Consultant Team will undertake the work in a Project Office to be established in Kathmandu. Approximately 500 square feet of suitability furnished and partitioned office accommodation will be required. All Study works will be co-ordinated and conducted from this office.
Survey and investigation works during the site investigation/survey will be conducted in the field making temporary lodging arrangements.
6.2 OFFICE / Drilling EQUIPMENT
The following office equipment will be required:
Pentium 4 Computers with Accessories- 2 sets
Laptop Computers
- 1 set
LaserJet Printer coloured and B/W- 2 set
Photocopier (A3) with Accessories- 1 set
Telephone + Fax
Spiral Binding Machine
Pocket Computers Drilling Equipment
- 1 set
Laboratory Equipment
- 1 set
6.3 OFFICE SUPPLIES
The cost for stationeries and consumables, report reproduction, other office supplies etc. has also been included in the Financial Proposal submitted herewith in separately sealed envelop.
6.4 FIELD EQUIPMENT FOR SURVEYS AND INVESTIGATION
Different types of field equipment will be required for survey works and investigation. These, among others, will include:
Electronic Total Station 2 set
Electronic Thedolite 2 set
Leveling Instrument 2 Set
Camera-3 set
Other tools and accessories as required
Field water testing kit
Surface and ground water sampler
Soil investigation and drilling equipment set 1 Geological compass 2 sets6.5 Transportation
The Consultant will need the following transport facilities with driver, fuel and lubricant during the Study.
1 No. Sedan car for the use by the Team
1 No. of 4WD vehicle (truck) for use of drilling during soil investigation 6.6 Technical and Administrative Support STAFF
The Consultant has fully provided for all necessary technical and administrative staff required. The resource inputs included are:
CAD Engineer
Assistants
Data Processor
Secretary/Computer Operator
Lab Technician
Administrative Staff
Drivers, Security Guards, Messengers etc.
6.7 Data and services to be provided to the consultant
Client shall provide to the Consultant copies of all available data, documents and reports required for carrying out the proposed Study.
The Consultant may need from other authorities, departments and institutions other information, reports or even the use of facilities. In such case, the Client shall assist the Consultant in the co-ordination of Study related works with such authorities, departments and institutions.
