The Correction Factor (the total of items 11, 22, 23, 33, 44 and 55) is used to determine whether or not a person tries to present favorable image of himself. If the total score of this factor is 20 or greater, then the total scores on the ten PECs must be corrected to provide a more accurate assessment of the strength of the PEC scores for the individual.

Use the following numbers when figuring the corrected score:

If the Correction Subtract the following number

Factors Score is from each PEC Score

24 or 25 7

22 or 23 5

20 or 21 3

19 or less 0

Use the next page to correct each PEC Score before using the Profile Sheet.

And using the graph, draw the result of PECs.

Cut that portion and don’t forget to write your name.

How can you become entrepreneurial? As the old saying goes: “Correct

practice makes perfect.” It is very important for you to know who

you are. Once you have taken your assignment

you must be able to know what your strong points (high scores) and weak points (low scores) are.

You can also take self personality or development test online.

Knowing your strengths and weaknesses is a good starting point.

Page 16: Chapter 3_Developing Yourself in Entrepreneurship

keep? Do you find it hard to meet deadlines? Do you start working with enthusiasm

and then lose interest before the job or project is done?

If you have any one of these with the answer “YES”

You lack commitment.

Page 17: Chapter 3_Developing Yourself in Entrepreneurship

Page 26: Chapter 3_Developing Yourself in Entrepreneurship

BE PERSUASIVE AND BUILD UP YOUR NETWORK The entrepreneur establishes a network

of personal and business contacts. Networking is required to achieve business

objectives. They identify sources of power if he cannot

source power within themselves. When you are persistent enough you can

make others do what you want them to do. And when you are persuasive enough you

can make others want to do what you want them to do.

See the difference?

Page 27: Chapter 3_Developing Yourself in Entrepreneurship
