III. How does a seed plant reproduce seeds?

A. Pollination occurs - Pollen from the anther must touch the stigma of the pistil.

B. Then Fertilization occurs - The pollen travels down the style into the ovary and seeds are created!

A. Inherit traits – color, size, shape

VI.What are other ways plant can reproduce?

A. Runners- stems run on ground and make new plants (strawberries)

B. Cuttings – leaf or stem placed in water creates new plant (spider plant)

C. Bulbs or tubers – stems that grow underground (potato, onion)
