Early College High School ECHS, based at Chaparral High School is a free public high school in the Gadsden Independent School District. Students enrolled will have the opportunity to graduate from ECHS with a New Mexico high school diploma and two years of college courses or an Associate of Arts degree. ECHS will complete its first school year in May and will enroll approximately 60 students for the 2013-2014 school year.
