Open Properties Menu• Right‐click on layer name and choose “Properties”

To change Fill: 1. change from “single symbol” to “graduated”
2. choose a field 3. choose a color4. click “classify”

Let’s change the “Mode” (or “Classification Method” that we will learn about later. Choose a different Mode
and click Classify and OK.

In the Properties window, choose a lighter border color

In this case, I chose a blue to go with the blue fill. If in doubt, choose a light gray.
