Hridayaangan is an initiative founded by Mrs Usha Nair, a retired teacher
who envisioned Equality, Accessibility and Quality in life for the
underprivileged. Activities are at Pabal and Kasu village, in Pen Taluka of
Raigad, Maharashtra. The founder’s vision is to provide a Ray of Hope to
the underprivileged and empower them in being self sucient and live a
life of dignity. Hence designed and implemented a Sustainable Community
based holistic model for Skill Development with the thrust on Rural
Upliftment using locally available resources. We provide training in
tailoring, embroidery, papad making, diya making, making of quilts etc. We
also provide expert talks on health and hygiene, sanitation and need for
better education. Medical camps are periodically organized for the adivasi
village and the school. Training imparted to students and villagers in sports
like kabadi, football, chess and carom etc. We are also striving to provide
basic facilities like clean toilets, safe drinking water. Our eorts are endless
and we believe that every drop contributes in making the vast ocean.
With the help and support of our patrons we have been able to
successfully take o from there on to training in farming and better
agricultural practices. Our endeavor is to ensure better standard of living.
We aim at transforming lives.

3D Art Gallery is a workspace that doubles up as an Art Gallery for noble
causes - a plush nook tucked away in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai, displaying Art
since 2007. 3D is an acronym for Spaces to Discuss, Display, Dine.
“Discuss" refers conference rooms and “Dine” is the cafeteria. Our primary
initiative is “Display", to promote talent in Art by emerging artists, special
children, artists in remote villages, and provide a platform. The range
includes portraits, folk art, masters’ replicas and abstract works.
Mrs. Usha Nair is the Curator / Art Director of 3D and has successfully
curated exhibitions annually which are deeply appreciated, hand-picking
talent and paintings with an expert eye. Usha tells us, "during a workshop
we once conducted, I was amazed to see that the art created by the
physically challenged could be so touching - that’s probably because of
their single minded concentration.” Some of these children went on to Art
College. Art in the oce spaces inspires a silent awe and lends a soothing
aura to the space. The paintings are not commercially priced, and make
excellent gifts for personal occasions, appreciation awards, festival
celebrations and for interior projects of homes, corporates and hotels.

Vinitha Anand Kumar’s creative journey of colours is something that
could be celestially comprehended. It is the confluence of 2 souls, one that
of Music & other that of Paintings that finally mingles with the super soul;
this so called sojourn commences at the innermost silent valleys of her
mind, where peace & tranquility always rests like fine petals of a
beautifully blossomed mystical flower. Thus touching the perfectly
appraising notes of Music, it turns out to be a fabulous elegant
picturesque born out of multi chromatic thoughts. It is a unique
spiritualistic way of musically discovering ones self that always results in
this mind capturing majestic paintings.
Sayujya born and brought up in Trivandrum, completed her MVA from
Chitra Kala Parishat (CKP) Banglore in 2011. Her specialisation is painting.
Her passion for painting began at a very young age. In 2007 she
conducted a solo exhibition in Cochin, sponsored by Kerala Lalitkala
Academy. She has participated in many group shows and camps.

Saguna Rice Technique (SRT) is a unique method of cultivating rotation
crops without ploughing, puddling and transplanting. This is a Zero Till,
Conservation Agriculture (CA) type of cultivation method evolved at
SagunaBuag, Neral, Dist. Raigad, MH, India.
Chandrashekhar Hari Bhadsavle, educated in California, USA, a celebrated
and recognized individual started with 35 acres of family land, and now
has more than 55 acres under cultivation: 6 acres earthen ponds for
aquaculture, 15 acres agro forestry, 10 acres horticulture, 15 acres field
crops, 5 acres for cattle barns, vermicomposting and activated slurry
project. All of this is integrated with tourism without losing land under
cultivation to make a perfect example of Agro Tourism.
SRT reduces backbreaking labour by 50% especially women, cost of
production by 40% while increasing productivity by 2-3 times and
cropping intensity can be increased by 300%. After each crop the organic
carbon level goes up because of environmental carbon fixation. SRT also
stops emission of greenhouse gases such as methane. Above all, it brings
back joy and confidence to the farmer.
