change of management refers to any approach to transitioning individuals, teams, and organizations using methods intended to re-direct the use of resources, business process, budget allocations, or other modes of operation that significantly reshape a company or organization.

A continued discrepancy between top management statements of values or styles and their actual managerial behavior

A big programmed of activities without any clear goals for change Short-term perspective. Lack of coordination between a number of different activities aimed at

increasing organizational effectiveness Overdependence on others Large gap between the top of the organisation and the middle of the

organisation Trying to fit a major organizational change into an old organizational

structure Applying an intervention or strategy inappropriately.

Assessing all the stakeholders and defining the nature of sponsorship, involvement and communication that will be required.

Planning the involvement and project activities of the change sponsor(s). Planning how and when the changes will be communicated, and organizing

and/or delivering the communications messages. Assessing the impact of the changes on people and the organization's structure. Making sure those involved or affected have help and support during times of

uncertainty and upheaval. Assessing training needs driven by the change, and planning when and how this

will be implemented.
