This Valentinersquos Day New Digs Ministries is asking the public to consider a more charitable approach to giving gifts From now until March 14th New Digs Ministry is highlighting its normal call for donations and volunteers during its Best Valentine Ever campaign

ldquoWe are excited to present another way to look at Valentinersquos Day When it comes to Valentinersquos Day you always think about cards chocolates or flowers We are excited to promote the idea instead of doing something new and different to celebrate this holiday by donating some time or money to help someone with a fresh startrdquo says Lloyd Sheaffer Board President

In the past four years New Digrsquos has worked with over 11000 peo-ple including families single mothers veterans and the disabled as well as those who were devastated by fires or other natural disasters

During this campaign New Digs is calling for monetary donations as well as household items such as furniture kitchenware and sheets and towels New Digs is completely staffed by volunteers so any time that people can give is much appreciated All resources will be used to continue the organizationrsquos mission to provide home furnishings to people who are ldquostarting overrdquo

ldquoOur mission is really about helping others in our community who are having a tough time By doing what you can you can give someone the Best Valentinersquos Day ever This is something some-one will remember foreverrdquo ndash Ginny Jones the Founder

From now until March 14th New Digs is calling for donations and volunteers to help support the campaignrsquos motto ldquoGive From the Heartrdquo

New Digs Ministries will have an open house on Saturday March 7 from 1000-1130am at its location 5 Pleasant View Dr Mechanic-sburg PA 17050
