Leadership Douglas 2017Leadership Douglas is a program of the Douglas County Chamber
Foundation. The mission of Leadership Douglas is to identify, encourage & develop leadership abilities so that its participants grow both personally & professionally. Through presentations,
discussions and work sessions, the program seeks to inspire those who are willing to get involved. Participants are given the oppor-
tunity to meet and interact with current community and business leaders throughout the program. Participants in Leader-ship Douglas benefit from getting to know one another and from
the exchange of ideas and experiences. The class members are exposed to these topics: Leadership, Government/Judicial, Eco-
nomic Development, Social Services, Cultural Diversity, Education, Public Safety, Recreation, Water Resources and Arts and Culture.
Youth Leadership Douglas is a leadership training program grounded in community awareness, community service and in developing your personal potential to lead. The program focuses on
providing opportunities for participants to develop an understanding of the meaning and responsibilities of personal, organizational and community leadership as well as producing ethical
leaders committed to active community involvement.
