Chalga: what is it?DefinitionChalga (Чалга) is the most common word, used

for identifying a style of music in Bulgaria, aka Pop Folk, incorporating a blend of Bulgarian, Arabic, Turkish, Greek, and Roma (Gypsy) influences, as well as motifs from even flamenco and klezmer music. It is known for repeating musical themes and dance rhythms and its style of dancing called kyuchek (belly dance) in Bulgarian.
