   Boart  Longyear  is  the  leading  provider  of  mineral  exploration  drilling  services  and  drilling  products  in  the  world  today.  The  Company  is  the  only  integrated  drilling  services  and  products  provider,  combining  engineering  excellence,  global  manufacturing  facilities  and  the  most  experienced  drilling  services  group  in  the  business.          Business  Situation  Legacy  system  was  used  for  global  operations.  There  were  no  controls  provided  in  the  system,  which  caused  millions  of  dollars  in  leakages  and  damages.    Due  to  this  legacy  architecture  of  fragmented  systems  Boart  Longyear  could  not  consolidate  their  data  for  any  analysis  or  reporting.    They  decided  to  overcome  these  problems  by  implementing  Oracle  EBS  R12  globally  spanning  over  70  countries.        Chain-­‐Sys  Solution  Chain-­‐Sys  offered  Boart  Longyear  the  appLOAD  productivity  suite  to  load  their  master  transactions  and  setup  data  into  Oracle  EBS  R12  Oracle  On-­‐Demand  instance.  appLOAD  was  used  for  the  initial  data  conversion  along  with  traditional  programming.    Boart  Longyear  saved  substantial  time  and  money  over  the  traditional  method  of  data  loading.      appLOAD  is  used  as  an  end  user  tool  for  Oracle  EBS  R12  data  management  in  scenarios  like  Customer  Cleanup,  Supplier  Update,  Mass  Item  Update,  Cost  Update,  Human  Capital  Management  Records  for  over  70  countries  and  Projects  Data.
