Can you imagine what a single slip can do to fragile human
flesh.
Safety is the key
Wear the right safety gear for the job, including appropriate clothing.
Follow the correct procedure for using all tools, farming equipment or machines.
Never place tools, equipment & materials where they hang on the edge of a bench.
Give your machine your full attention. Don’t look away or talk to others.
After using a tool — clean it and return
it to its proper storage place.
If anything breaks or malfunctions —
report it to someone in authority at
once.
Be aware of what you are doing and where you are going at all times.
Keep children and other people away from tools and work area.

Make sure your grip and footing are secure when using large tools.

with care when mixing and spraying.
Never store chemicals where children
may accidentally become exposed.
When spraying crops with a knapsack sprayer, spray with your back to the oncoming wind.
Sprayer’s back is facing the wind.
