Course Placement
Middle School math placement will determined by: Previous grade’s EOG School-issued final exam Teacher recommendation IOWA overall math score Parent input
Flexibility
Pre-testing in August will confirm a student’s placement in course for the year
Pre-Algebra will offer a 5 or 6 period per week option
Algebra will offer a 5 or 7 period per week option
Quarterly option to switch between 5 and 6 (or 7) day option depending on student performance
Support
In the Classroom Differentiation, accommodations for students with learning
differences, supplemental materials for support or enrichment, parent volunteers, teacher appointments
