CGV was incorporated on 13 February 2015 as LLP for better wider reach across business models, visibility, transparency and adopted the experience, Financials & Assets of CIA-GLOCAL (Begun operating since July 2013) a partnership firm with same set of promoters & owners Mr Alok C Sapre and Mrs. Arpita Sapre.

GEC would provide local multidiscipline Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management (EPCM) and project delivery expertise in Infrastructure, Real Estate, Energy &Power, Oil & Gas, Water & Utility and Process sector both to domestic & overseas markets.

GEC would become part of execution strategy of potential parent organization for carrying out following services as its own arm ( as Owner’s engineer) :

Business Development/Prospect Tracking: From tracking of potential prospects to facilitate client on setting out of the tender pre-qualification requirement to issuance of Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) & analyzing for eligible award.

Proposal Engineering: Development of the techno commercial proposal including the estimate of the overall costs, risk assessment, management Method & Schedule leading to the final bid pricing.

Post Bid-pre Award Assistance: Facilitate answers to all technical & commercial questions.

Post Award: Post issuance of Notice of Award (NOA), facilitate finalization of final version of the contract to be signed including development of the final as sold pricing.

Basic Engineering - Post award: Head start with development of basis of design including basic flow sheets, descriptions of processes and methods, mass and energy balances (material flow lists), media lists, Preliminary detailing (viz. Piping and Instrument) Diagrams, Definition and sizing of main equipment resulting in process specifications, Definition of control and safety devices, Conceptual equipment and piping Layout.

Site Support/Field Engineering Support: Site support service includes answering all technical queries related to construction, effectively co-ordinate changes and assist during construction, erection and commissioning.

Procurement & Expediting: The services include contracts and purchase, inspection, expediting, transportation as well as supplier/contractor enlistment .

Project Management, QHSE Compliances: The service includes planning, organizing and controlling resources to achieve goal and objectives with best practices.

Budgeting & Scheduling: Regulated process of control for internal plan & costs for optimization of productivity & raising efficiency.

• DOS is about creating a Unique Value chain proposition as after collecting design order & targets from Prospective Global Client to CGV’s India Centre, where upon evaluating requirements, the designs would be processed by its selected & proven Domain Expert Vendors for delivering desired output .

• After Final Quality Check only the designs would be submitted to Client with target of “ZERO ERROR & NO DELAY”, thus creating a knowledge with time & cost Optimized chain” for win-win results.

• DOS services are aimed at taking the responsibility of Bulk Design/Drawing need of detailed Shop/ construction/working drawings (Architectural, Structural, MEP and HVAC) of Building Services (Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Institutional buildings, Health care unit, Hotels and Hospitality sectors etc.), Highways & Bridges, Railway & Metro, Energy and Oil & Gas Services for its Global Clientele.

• DOS would facilitate support to both the Public & Private client/consultants alike viz. Contractors & Developers, Real Estate Companies, Principal Engineering Consultant offices, EPC & Construction Companies in transport/power/ energy etc. to complete their projects on time, complying with desired International standards/codes and standards.

• DOS would initially focus on secondary/bulk designs/shop & working drawings from Global Client & after winning the trust principle/main design support would be offered for new projects.

Design Out Sourcing (DOS) Services


Construction secondary designs / Shop/ working Drawings: These are the Drawings used for implementing the concept from principle designs with details to suit, on spot requirements be in civil construction or material fabrication or installing a system. Shop Drawings are engineered for ease of production and for submittal to client for approval to construct, fabricate. Shop/Detailing drawings includes concrete structures, Rebar detailing, steel fabrication drawing, plumbing & piping, MEP/HVAC duct fabrication drawings etc.

Building Information Modeling( BIM ): Building Information Modelling with deep-seated features like Drawing consistency, BOM [Bill of Material], Cost Estimation, Bill of Quantity and Clash Detection to help in matching designing interpretation to implementation on construction site.

Mechanical, Electrical Plumbing (MEP): Mechanical service includes, Fire protection system, HVAC system design and detailing. Electrical Design Service includes, Alarm, power distribution, Lighting, All low current system, Medium Voltage (MV) details, Lighting protection etc. with all required section and schedule. Plumbing Service includes, Water supply and sewage network, Storm water network, Sump pump/sewage ejector/lift station design etc.

Detail Engineering Service For Energy, Oil & Gas Industry: GEC would providing principal design service for Energy, Oil & Gas sector in domestic & international market through DOS. Detail engineering service includes, Detail Piping and Instrument Diagrams, Detailed Equipment and piping layout, detailed drawings related to instrumentation, electrical facilities and civil works, Equipment and pipe sizing calculation, preparation of Isometric, Piping stress analysis, start-up procedure, Management of vendor drawing and documents etc.

An MBA and Alumni of Indian School of Business with specialized courses on management from Wharton & Kellogg in USA & FDC in Brazil, Bachelor in Civil Engineering & Masters in Hydro-Electric with B.A Economics. Had a modest start to career as a Water resource Engineer reached to CEO & Director of Indian & Multinational Companies with diverse infrastructure experience of more than 30 years. He is a management expert in Global Infrastructure, Project Management and Strategy. • Shashank Vaidya

A Gold medallist Post graduate in Structural Engineering from IIT Madras, three times gold medallist for outstanding performance in Indian Railways, where he worked for more than 18 years He was Head of Engineering and R&D in HCC, during this period HCC filed for 5-6 patents. Personally filed for a patent for a device in the field of concrete. He is an well known expert in field of quality assurance, , Engineering & design. • Satish Parchure

A Mechanical Engineer from VNIT, Nagpur and PGDM –IIM Kolkata, A Certified Lead Assessor for Quality Systems and a President’s Medal winner for Diploma in Transport Economics and Management. He has Worked with Larsen and Toubro, UB Group and was Managing Director for US Interactive, an Indian subsidiary of a software company based in California,US. With more than 3 decades of rich experience in setting up and managing Profit Centre Operations involving management and marketing of a wide bandwidth of products & services, proven ability of managing responsibilities across a gamut of functions and achieving pre-set revenue and profitability targets. A Mining & Rock Mechanics Consultant , he is a Bachelor in Mining Engineering, Masters in Engineering Rock Mechanics from London University & D.I.C. in Engineering Rock Mechanics from Imperial College of Science (Royal School of Mines), London. He possesses Mine Managers First Class Certificate of Competency, Metalliferous Unrestricted, 1978.he is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India)(FIE), Member, International Society of Rock Mechanics (ISRM), Founder Member, Indian Society for Rock Mechanics & Tunnelling Technology (ISRMTT), He has Published more than 20 research papers including two in International Journals.
