PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Celebrating the 69th CG Day on March 19th at the corporate headquarter was a moment to
recapitulate on the journey the group had taken over the years. From the humble beginning of a
diminutive business to the today's corporate conglomerate with global presence speaks for the
achievement and the drive the group has always shown. Today we stand with our heads held high
but this has only come with the pioneering initiatives, hard work, perseverance and dedication.
Ingeniousness to new ideas and on going communication is the core strength of Chaudhary Group.
The occasion was also an opportunity to acknowledge the effort of each employee who had put over
ample years to transcend the organization to its current state. The felicitation of employees who have
completed more than twenty five years of service in itself brought satisfaction to all of us in sharing
their joy which flowed from their heart. Similarly goodwill of each well wisher was always a motivat-
ing factor for driving ahead. The theme "Celebrating Excellence for more than a century …" rightly
epitomized the moment.
So far so good, but instead of resting on laurels of past achievements we are striving ahead with new
energy and vigour. Already fourth generation of our family is bringing in new ideas and this has
added the impetus to move ahead in these challenging times. The new projects like captive power
generation and Environment Management Systems at the world class integrated private industrial
park at Nawalparasi are underway. Adding to the diversity of the group, wafer biscuits have been
launched in the domestic market. The tie up with the second largest brewery in the world viz, SAB
Miller Plc brought world renowned "Royal Challenge" premium lager beer to this Himalayan
kingdom.
We have reached another milestone with this issue of CG News. The corporate beanstalk will only
grow further. As we are stepping into the eighth decade of business operation and we have faith
that as a team we will pursue and achieve in becoming the globally recognised company.
Regards,
Binod K. Chaudhary
President & Managing Director
