Manage regular reporting requirement of HK Regional Office/Italian Head Office • Direct and coordinate the preparation of
monthly/quarterly/annual reports as required• Endorse/sign-off of attestations and certifications as
required for the monthly, quarterly, and annual regional reporting requirements
• Appraise, evaluate and enhance the integrity of the financial reports of the Company
Manage Regulatory/Statutory Reports/Tax Management• Review and analysis of reports required to comply with
the regulatory authorities• Coordinate timely submission of reports in accordance
with statutory and regulatory timelines• Sign off on reporting requirements as the need arises
resulting from regulatory and statutory audits• Coordinate with regulators to assess financial data
Board & Management Reporting• Presentation of financial results to the stakeholders• Alert board & management on material shortfalls• Co-ordinate & propose corrective actions
Timely and accurate reporting of financial/accounting-related reports within the specific deadlines and policies.
Monitor the financial performance of the country:• Overall budgetary control• Analysis and review of key balances and trends to ensure
completeness of transactions recording. This will include review of variance analysis against budgets and previous year; profitability analysis by channel and by line of business.
• monitor material deviation in financial data• co-ordinate corrective actions• monitor and follow up on the implementation of
corrective actions
Prompt identification of shortfalls & assist management in the formulation of corrective actions, leading to the delivery of identified Corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Plan, coordinate & manage the preparation of the annual business plan and budget
• Facilitating the setting of budgetary parameters, assumptions and financial/business objectives
• Review, consolidate and timely submission of the strategic plan according to the pre-defined format of regional group

parameters;• The reporting deadline; and• Group requirement.
• Develop, document, enhance & monitor Finance/Accounting policies, procedures and controls• Through review, approval, and identification of critical processes that need to be documented• ensure proper control is in place• Keeps in mind segregation of duties wherever feasible to ensure that no individual or group controls sufficient processes for
errors or defalcations to occur without chance of detection• Delegations of authority within the Department is properly documented and in writing• Ensure that the account reconciliation standards are met. This will include the review and evaluation of frequency, and
guidelines are updated and in support of the company’s internal control and risk management policies• System development - ensure that independence and segregation of duties are taken into account when endorsing any
finance and non-finance automated systems implementation. This will include ensuring that all key financial controls are addressed in new systems development with proper compliance with regulatory requirements
• Communication and co-ordinate with all the users of the country in ensuring consistent application of accounting/financial policies (unless the application is inconsistent with local regulatory requirements) of the group
• Review and update the accounting manual whenever needed• Proactively promotes and implements new finance core systems by providing management expertise in the
areas of change management and communication plans for successful implementation. Endorses short and long-term solutions to issues encountered during these systems enhancements. Regular reviews of finance information systems for flexibility to meet regional group operations, aid Senior Management with making business decisions, and comply with regulatory & Group reporting requirements.
Full compliance with regulatory & Group accounting systems, methods, controls & policies. Timely documentation of changes in processes & controls.

Effective & efficient finance & accounting team delivering identified finance-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Education:• Fellow of Recognized Actuarial Society; and/orProfessional accounting qualification (Chartered
Accountant or Certified Public Accountant)Experience:• > 15 years of relevant experience in managing accounting & financial reporting function;• > 15 years of working knowledge on both life accounting;• Internal/external auditing experience in assessing, evaluating and reporting on risks & controls• Strong analytical ability of financial reports

• Co-ordinate, manage & monitor the external audit activities of the country to ensure timely completion of the annual financial statements within the specific reporting deadline and accounting standards of regional group
• Monitor, control & resolve all the audit-related issues arising from the audit exercise
• Accurate & timely reporting of the annual financial statements with full compliance of statutory, regulatory & Group requirements.
• Timely resolution of the audit-related matters with no recurring issue.
