Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant - HEALTH MGT 150 Green Bay Campus - Accelerated 5 Week Program July 29th, 2019 - August 30th, 2019 Classes are 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Wood Hall 238 at UWGB Labs are 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Green Bay West High School Clinicals are 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Grancare Nursing Center Registration to come! Fee: Three Credits $984.79 (Includes instruction, tuition, and supplies.) (Additional fees including text and workbook, background check and immunization will be covered by student) Certified nursing assistants play an important role as members of the comprehensive healthcare team in a variety of medical settings. CNAs are employed in hospitals, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, hospices, community care facilities and as home health aides in patient’s homes. In addition to receiving technical skills, students will learn additional concepts necessary to provide excellent person-centered care. The CNA program includes a combination of lectures, laboratory practices and supervised clinical work at a medical care facility. This program is recognized and approved by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Upon successful completion of the program, the student is eligible to take the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Competency Examination. Manitowoc Campus- Coming in 2020!
