IHMM pass/fail ratio (70%) ACHMM national overview course designed to
support applicants sitting for the CHMM national certification examination

Demonstrate an appropriate education background and specific work experience
– Apply to IHMM 6 weeks prior to exam Have an acceptable score (~70% pass-fail) on a
professionally-prepared, closed-book exam:– Regulatory Compliance– Science & Technology– Environmental Management
Maintain proficiency– Meet recertification requirements [participate in professional
development, document 17 CMPs (certification maintenance points) every 5 years]
– Continuing education (at least 20 hours/per year) Uphold an enforced ethical code
